Think of it as a door between two rooms. On one side a candidate and Adam build the evidence. On the other an employer and Eve build the brief. Matching runs across the wall on evidence alone, with names held back.
The door opens from the candidate's side. When they say yes, the introduction is warm, and a person on each side decides what happens next.
Why AEC needs its own platform
What the matching reads
A structural engineer is not a marketing manager with a different job title. Generic job boards treat them the same. Adam & Eve is built for one sector first, so the matching reads the things a practice actually hires for.
- S.01Project typeResidential, education, healthcare, infrastructure, heritage, commercial. A hospital team and a housing team want different track records.
- S.02Stage experienceWhich RIBA stages a candidate has actually carried, from concept to handover. "Stage 4 delivery" is a different job from "competition work".
- S.03Software and standardsRevit, Rhino, Civil 3D, Tekla, Navisworks, ISO 19650 and the rest. The tools are the day-to-day work, not a footnote.
- S.04Discipline and sectorArchitecture, structures, civils, MEP, surveying, planning, site. One sector, many disciplines, each with its own language.

Read with every sheet. Nothing moves without consent, and a person decides
- Candidates are never shared without saying yes.
A profile is private until the candidate switches sharing on, and they can switch it off again.
- Introductions are blind until both sides agree.
An employer sees evidence first. Names and contact details follow consent, not the other way round.
- Matching cites evidence.
Every match points to what the candidate said about their own projects and experience. Nothing is scraped from elsewhere.
- A person makes every hiring decision.
Adam and Eve recommend and prepare. They do not hire, reject, or rank people out of a process.
- Protected characteristics stay out of matching.
The fairness statement sets out what is and is not used, in plain words.
- Employers pay only when someone starts work.
A 10% placement fee, with no retainer and no exclusivity. Candidates pay nothing.
